    Ocijenio je da stalno prijeti nestabilnost prouzrokovana bugarskom blokadom makedonskih pregovora o članstvu u EU što se prelijeva i na Albaniju, izostankom napretka u pregovorima Srbije i Kosova ali i unutrašnjim problemima koje ima BiH.

    Pahor vjeruje kako je možda najvažnije riješiti zastoj u slučaju Bosne i Hercegovine pred koju je postavljeno 14 prioriteta koje valja riješiti kako bi dobila kandidatski status. Zastoj na tom planu traje već duže od dvije godine, a slovenski predsjednik sada predlaže da se BiH ipak da takav status kao važan politički signal o postojanju jasne evropske perspektive te da se nakon toga radi na ispunjenu postavljenih kriterija.

    Pojasnio je kako je integracijski proces zbog prevelike sporosti prouzrokovao rast nacionalizma i potakao neprihvatljive ideje o promjenama granica u regiji.

    Predložio je stoga da se o proširenju razmišlja kao o najvažnijem pitanju koje je posebno dobilo na značaju nakon ruske invazije na Ukrajinu.

    Oni se sumnjiče za za neovlaštenu proizvodnju i stavljanje u promet opojnih droga, posjedovanje i omogućavanje uživanja opojnih droga, odavanje službene tajne, krivotvorenje isprave, te nedozvoljeno držanje oružja ili eksplozivnih materija, prenose federalni mediji.
